“Two Islands” Sculpture, Franklin Square, Hobart TAS

Ground screws

OS 114×1300-4xM16

The “Two Islands” sculpture is a permanent public art installation at Franklin Square, Hobart which draws from the park’s cultural heritage and history. The two symbolic vessels designed by Nigel Helyer represent the Tasmanian Aboriginal and European settler cultures.

The sculpture is mounted on 21 of our OS 114×1300-4xM16 ground screws, which we supplied directly to the City of Hobart Council. The Council did a fantastic job coordinating the project and installing our products. The engineered design, including spigot connection to our ground screws was compiled by Event Engineering.

Since this project, we have established a local Tasmanian distributer/installer and our products are now available through Tasmanian Ground Screws!
